What is expected of this units ? It is rated at 40m2 ( that is square, so area not volume). I have a room that is 2m x 4m ( so it is 8m2). Yet, when the temperature is 28.4C outside, this unit is only able to bring the temperature down to 24.0C inside this room..... even though the thermostat is set for 19C. It does not seem to be performing at advertised.

Same here, though slightly bigger room. Set for 16, down to 24 lowest so far. But it’s also last flr/old building, isolation is poor
