In the case of product revisions and associated releases of new versions within a product type, manufacturers often use the same manufacturer number and usually also the same global part number (GTIN) of the predecessor. The latter is used for the electronic identification of products, with which our products are booked into our incoming goods department and which is also used to control shipping.
As our warehouse is largely automated and we aim for the fastest possible processing between order and delivery, it is unfortunately not possible for us to control which version is ultimately dispatched.
