What happens in the event of a power failure? Is there a power reserve or do the stored alarm times, transmitters and time have to be reset?

Like all modern devices, the unit has a flash or EEPROM memory. This is non-volatile, i.e. it retains all information even if the power supply fails. So you can pull the plug with impunity during operation. The time is lost, but it is recorded again as soon as a programme is set.
