What does the EU version mean? Is it for the type of plug?

Both the plug and the socket at the front for the appliance to be vacuumed are Schuko. I haven't noticed anything else so far, the vacuum cleaner is great. As far as I know, however, there is only the smaller one with less capacity as a CH version.
