We bought a humidifier like this. Now it does not work properly. The air is still very dry. We let it run all night and it doesn't seem to do anything. And the room is not too big for it, it is in the right range. The filters are also turning brown after 1 1/2 weeks and look almost burnt. Is our device defective? Or what can we do differently?

in my case the filters turn brownish after 2-3 months. then they have to be replaced. but already after 1.5 weeks? no idea. maybe the construction plays a role? Is it a wooden construction? I run mine in a "normal" housing development, parquet floor, walls plastered concrete or brick, ceiling painted concrete. Works wonderfully for me. I would call Stadler.
