Want to improve my WLAN. Have UPC. Does this work with the Devolo Magic 2 WiFi next Starter Kit or is this not compatible. What are the experiences?

This has nothing to do with your provider!
Short PowerLine explanation:
You plug the Devolo into the socket and connect it to the router via LAN cable. From now on, all your sockets are "Internet-enabled".
So if you now plug a second Devolo into any other socket, you can connect all your devices there via LAN cable.
Then there is the "Devolo Wifi", which also supports wireless. That means you connect your mobile phone in the basement with the WLAN of the Devolo there and the signal goes via WLAN from the mobile phone to the Devolo, from there via the mains to the "main Devolo" and then via LAN cable to the router.
For example, I have 1 to 2 Devolos in each building, so that I have comprehensive WLAN coverage.

The "Devolo Wifi" are also technically quite sophisticated:
"Mesh WLAN", for example, which means that when I go from the attic to the basement with my mobile phone, it automatically connects to the next Devolo.
The function that automatically transfers changes to the settings to all Devolos is also quite useful.
Of course, you can automatically transfer the WLAN settings of your router to all Devolos, but you can also define a separate WLAN for each Devolo: For example, if you have a granny flat for your mother-in-law, you can assign her her own WLAN and she has no access to the other devices in the network (also very useful in shared flats!).
And finally, the Devolo Wifi also offers a guest WLAN.

So, all the options you need to have LAN and WLAN reception everywhere.
Of course, with all these options, installation is not necessarily self-explanatory and sometimes you have to try things out.

Unfortunately, we live in a house with individual flats and apparently separate electrical lines. It didn't work there!
