Using it as a bridge with Teleboy ? I bought this device because it was on the list of certified devices that Teleboy (and Swisscom, same network) provided. They installed my OTO port, and I plugged in the XGS-PON into the OTO socket (port #). Unfortunately, my PON light is off and LOS light is red. I think this means that the OTO port is not receiving any optic data ? I expected my PON light to be green. Has anyone had this issue? The Teleboy support is not being super helpful unfortunately

UPDATE: The fiber installation was defective.

After several back and forth with Teleboy's support, they sent out a technician.
The fiber link (in the BEP) had been laid wrongly when the previous technicians installed the fiber.

They fixed it, and the PON light automatically turned on the device.

For the record, here's how to use it with a custom router:
- Set the XGS-PON Bridge to bridge mode + VLAN 10
- Plug it into your custom router
- Set DHCP Option 60 for the WAN interface to '100008,0001'

You should then be able to access Swisscom's splash page

Thank you all for the help!

Hello, I had the device for a long time and without problems in operation with Wingo, is actually Swisscom ;)
You have to use connection 2 on the Otto socket and of course the XPon on the Zyxel. Possibly the plugs are not plugged in correctly, please check on both sides, in the worst case the glass cable is defective or kinked. The modem comes with one, if this does not work simply use the original from the provider. The device itself does not need any configuration. I hope this has helped you.

I didn't use it with Teleboy. But the line never worked at Sunrise with this XGS-Pon. I had to use a Sunrise modem.
And I've been told that it's often blocked by operators and only works with the modems they supply for the general public.
