This is the second time Philips toothbrush broke (lose and noisy head brush caused by loose screw inside) within 2 months after warranty - is this a planned obsolescence case?
I think we are now on our 4th toothbrush after several warranty replacements. It always has the above mentioned defect of first getting louder and then the spindle gets completely loose and the toothbrush is useless. The longest interval we have had one of these was 9 months - normally it breaks after 3-6 months.
This is very bad, especially in terms of sustainability. I think this product should be taken off the market and anyone still using these toothbrushes should receive a replacement with an alternative product as soon as ProtectiveClean 5100 fails.
Exactly the same problem as with #PekotskiBit, the 2nd toothbrush defective shortly after the warranty ends... I'm switching back to Oral B :)
