Question about Sony Ht-St5000
TheDing has Chromecast built in. Question about this: Prerequisites: TV switched off, other input selected on soundbar (e.g. HDMI 1). If I now stream music to chromecast via google home or via app: a) it remains switched off and the soundbar automatically switches to the chromecast input, does the TV also switch on? b) it remains switched off and the soundbar automatically switches to the chromecast input, but leaves the TV switched off? or c) the input does not switch automatically, so you have to do everything yourself? I would be grateful for an answer :)

For me, the TV is connected via ARC port, if the soundbar is on standby and you are streaming from Spotify, for example, nothing moves on the TV, the soundbar plays the correct source.
This is more or less what you describe in B.

hammer, thanks for the answer. that's what i wanted to hear, because i have a projector and didn't want it to start all the time as soon as i streamed music. (This currently happens with a normal chromecast, (HDMI CEC) and is just annoying. But hdmi can't just play back sound, it always has to have a video track), and with chromecast audio via toslink or 3.5mm you have to change the input yourself.
so the chromecast built in is absolutely perfect!
