The wifi connection doesn't really work for me. I have set up everything as described in the instructions. However, the control only works sporadically. The LED light (Wifi status) flashes every now and then. I have the feeling that it loses the wifi connection from time to time. Does anyone have any tips on how to solve the problem? I have already reconfigured it... but that didn't help. Could it be the wifi router? 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz setting? Any tips would be helpful.
It may be necessary to restart the router and the device. You need to scan the QR code in the user manual to initialise the installation and install the application. I would stress that this is not very intuitive. Having said that, the performance of the air conditioner is excellent, even without the lame gadgets supplied. Unfortunately, I can't be positive about reliability. In the bank where I work it's fabulous, at home it's gone for repairs... a sort of Alfa Romeo..,
In my case, after a while (a few days in which the unit is not used at all, i.e. constantly in stand-by mode), the control unit can no longer be controlled via mobile and WIFI. Then the only thing that helps is to disconnect the unit from the power supply until the LED is completely off. Then it works again. So all in all, it's a half-baked thing. Now in summer, when I am in daily operation, it works reasonably well when I am in the room with the mobile. Starting the device early from a distance (on the road) doesn't work either. I can live with it :-)) but of course it's not really optimal.
it's the same for me... also the "app" (it's just a website) doesn't notice if e.g. inputs were made via the remote control or on the device... But yes, the WIFi integration (if you can even call it that) is adventurous... at least the device cools decently...
