Question about QNAP Ts-251+-8g

The TS-251 is equipped with an Intel J1900 processor, which apparently has a problem that leads to the "degradation" of certain bus signals when used over a longer period of time, which means that the system no longer boots. (See also: https://forum.qnapclub.de/blog/entry/534-der-intel-clock-bug-massensterben-bei-qnap-mit-intel-prozessoren/ ) Does anyone know if the Intel processor still has this problem with this TS-251?

As you have read yourself, no one wants to give out the exact information. Not even Intel itself, since it is an embedded CPU. The only thing you can do is ask QNAP if this problem has been fixed.
The J1900 is from 2013 and if it's only been blowing up in people's faces since 2020, it will probably take a good 6 years for the bug to appear. So just out of warranty :-)
If you don't get a reasonable answer from Qnap, I would just take another NAS.
