The side brushes on my Roborock s5 max are not the same as those in the photo... they are not 3 spoke but 5 spoke... are you sure they are compatible?

Yes, that fits. I was also wondering, but I haven't noticed any change in cleaning performance.
It also worked perfectly for me, even if they look slightly different
