Question about Netgear Gs116e-200pes
The Netgear switch series "GSXXXE" has version 3 for the 5/8 port variant. Why is this not the case with this switch? And is it advisable to use this switch for the main network distribution in the house if 5-P & 8-P switches of the "GSXXXE" series are already in use? Or is there a better alternative?
Version 2 for the 16 ports is the last version produced by Netgear, there is no version 3 yet.
Here I found a cool datasheet with the other switches in comparison. Since the switches are all the same series, you can use them together without any problems.
