The maximum power consumption is 48 watts. Does this router consume a lot of power compared to others in normal operation (5G and a few wifi clients)?
The router requires a maximum of 48 watts, but in normal operation I have measured the router at around 15 watts. However, the power supply unit is designed for a maximum of 48 watts, so that devices connected to the USB 3.0 port could also be operated (within the permissible power consumption that can be drawn via USB 3.0).
What you should note about the router is that it has a small fan built into the bottom of the housing, which you can still hear in a quiet room at a distance of about 2-3 m. The fan runs at first, but then it stops. The fan does not run at first, but later it runs permanently.
