The following: I am quite satisfied with the speakers. Unfortunately, I miss a rich middle. I'm not sure if this is due to the tuning of the speakers (typical for Klipsch) or the size of the speakers. I was able to remedy the lack of midrange by connecting a second, different speaker to the amplifier box instead of the R-41pm. One of my old Pioneer Twin Bass reflex speakers. The whole thing sounds much better in the living room. Good mids. I'm a bit amazed that the combination of a new PM speaker and the old Pioneer speaker I've had since 1999 works so well. My question now is: Will this combination work in the long term? The attached Pioneer speaker is a 100W unit. The speakers actually sound pretty much the same, except that the 100Watt speaker gives me the desired rich mids. I'm looking forward to your feedback.
