The device determines PMI. What is the difference to HRV (heart rate variability)?
Heart rate variability corresponds "only" to the different time between each heartbeat; the pulse modulation index corresponds to the variation between each heartbeat, in addition to the "flow", i.e. the surface under the pulse curve.
