Question about ASUS WL-Router RT-BE88U
The description says: Up to 9 LAN ports. Unfortunately, I can't even manage to get 8 ports :-( I can't find a way to switch the two LAN/WAN ports as pure LAN ports in the settings and the manufacturer only gives useless AI answers that are not even identical to the menu navigation of the RT-BE88U. And in the end you are connected to a technician if you transfer $5 by credit card. That's what I call "customer service" for a promised function that the AI doesn't even know :-( Does anyone from Digitec or the Community know how to activate the two LAN ports? I don't use the Internet, only use the RT-BE88U as a local network router with fixed LAN AIP and DHCP for WLAN Many thanks in advance
According to the manual, you must open the WAN tab in the router menu and deactivate Dual WAN. You should then be able to assign the port as LAN instead of WAN.
