Question about Casio F-91w-1yer

i have been wearing the watch intermittently for months and also when showering/swimming.
until now everything works

I've had the watch on every day for the past seven weeks to take a shower. No problem. It says 'water resist', which refers to splashing water. So it's better not to go swimming, but everything else goes easily.
