The Connect M5 has been running continuously for the last three weeks without any problems. Since this morning, the connection light has been red, i.e. there is no connection any more. When I switch the device off and on again, the connection works for two minutes. I have already restarted the Connect M5 several times, removed and reinserted the SIM and reset the device. Unfortunately, it still does not work. Has anyone had the same problem?
I also had the problem that the connection kept dropping out. However, a hard reset (with a stack needle) helped me. But now the battery has ballooned. It's at Galaxus for replacement this month. Well, I don't know... something doesn't seem quite mature about the product.
We use the M5 as a backup internet line for fibre optics. Normally it runs quite reliably, but there are always situations where you have to reboot the thing. After that it usually works. I don't know if it's the integrated battery or what else, as far as I know there are no firmware updates at the moment.
