Question about Synology DS225+
Supposedly you can upgrade up to 16GB RAM - unofficially. Does anyone have any experience? Which RAM works? (I would like to completely replace my mini PC server and I need a bit more RAM to run all the Docker containers...)
I was brave and used the Crucial SO-DDR4 16GB 3200MT/s Non-ECC

1 x 16GB works perfectly for me.

I don't know about the 225+, but I don't try this sort of thing any more because I had a bad experience when I tweaked my 412+ in this way (erratic behaviour, high CPU usage).
Why not opt for the 725+, which has a more powerful AMD processor than the Intel of the 225+, which accespts 32GB of RAM instead of 6, and which can accept M2.2 SSDs as cache or even as the main volume?
