Strange...Reolink lists the camera with a resolution of 2560x1920. So where does the 3072x2048 pixels or 3072x1728 in the description come from? MainStream fps is also given there as 30fps instead of... So either the data is completely off, or this model is a predecessor with 20fps. Recently ordered an RLC-520 and a few days later ordered 2 more. The first RLC-520 was the new model, a few days later Digitec sent me 2 previous models. Reolink has a habit of not changing the model name. You notice that at the latest when you update the firmware ;-)

I didn't notice that about the resolution. It is actually the case that the camera was sold with a maximum of 2560 x 1920 pixels and 30 FPS as opposed to the description of 3072 x2048 pixels and 20 FPS. Actually, I did not get what corresponds to the camera's features.

Who says you can change the resolution with a firmware update? ;-)

The firmware update was purely related to the RLC-520, of which I have received two different versions from Digitec, old and new....but the firmware file is different, or for the new RLC_520 model there is still no update....

In my case, the RLC-423 web server says: 2560x1920 (i.e. 5 MP) / 30 fps / 8192 kbps. I suspect that Digitec has provided incorrect information. And you can't increase the optical resolution with a firmware update alone anyway.
