The Gorenje oven could distribute the heat more evenly than your old appliance due to the optimised air circulation, the hot air function and the revised HomeMade shape. As a result, the 220 °C may not seem so hot, even if the temperature is actually reached.
Modern ovens, especially those with pyrolysis or rapid heat-up functions, often need an explicit preheating phase to reach the full temperature. With the Gorenje GO66E PIZZA350C, the rapid heat-up function is activated automatically in many programmes (e.g. "Auto Bake" or for frozen pizza). The oven should therefore always be preheated for 10-15 minutes.
The oven may work slightly differently to your old appliance. Use the preheat function, make sure you have the right shelf and heating mode and adjust the temperature slightly if necessary. If the oven does not reach the desired temperature, there may be a faulty temperature controller, damaged seals or a problem with the power supply.
