I can't see through all the technology. The speakers don't have an optical input, so I would have to connect my PC via a jack (line, right?). How is that bad or problematic? Optical is digital and jack is analogue, isn't it? Do I have to compromise somewhere?

Accepted Answer

You can only connect analogue signals, which means the signal should be of good quality. The speakers themselves have a super quality and are highly recommended. You should only use a good sound card if you want to use the speakers on your PC. I use an Asus Xonar.
