Radio? Is there a more precise definition, is it ZIGBEE or a separate standard, as I already have various Zigbee devices in use, I don't want another radio standard in the house.
It is definitely not Zigbee, but a proprietary, encrypted radio protocol that is the connection to the Netatmo gateway. The gateway is connected to the home network via WLAN. The Netatmo energy app is available for iOS or Android and the system is also compatible with Apple HomeKit, Alexa or Google Assistant. The same applies to the components of the Netatmo weather station.
Netatmo uses the in-house WLAN, it is compatible with Apple smart home and the control via the internet works fine.
