Question for Galaxus customer service: my Braun series 7-799cc 7 (item no. 659418) broke after about 2 years of use (corroded contacts). Does this happen often with Braun? General failure rate?

I have the same device, only 1 generation older. After about 1.5 years, I had to have the battery replaced (water damage). Since the replacement, it has been running perfectly. The unit is probably leaking.
