Normally you have to connect the modem from the internet provider via antenna cable and then connect the router with the modem... My question is: If I have a fibre connection, do I need a modem from the ISP? Can I plug the Netgear router directly into the wall?
Not directly, you need a media converter (e.g. from TPlink) from your internet provider if you have a fibre connection, otherwise you don't need anything else. You can hang the router on the wall, it has two prefabricated holes for it.
