Question about NordVPN Basis

And where is the question?

"NordVPN" is the company name. "Basis" is the package. In this case "only" the normal VPN service.

So no other functions that have been added in recent years, such as password manager etc.

Does it buy an activation code, i.e. there is no financial connection to NordVPN, i.e. NordVPN versus an anonymous purchase?

Can someone explain to me how such a VPN is supposed to hide anything from my supplier? Internet is physical and this line ALWAYS goes first to the ISP (who could read everything) then to the VPN. No matter what happens from then on, everything I see goes to the ISP first and then to me.
Theoretically at least I think it is impossible to hide something in this sense or if I am wrong I would be happy to receive sources and literature that explain how this should work.

I don't mean that the supplier is really watching but if he wanted to I don't see any way around "spying".
