It requires the player of the same or previous series to connect the speakers.
Samsung will repair the set even if only the player is sent. This is what happened to me without a cable.

Unfortunately, there is only one alternative, away from SAMSUNG.
I have had two blue-ray home cinemas from Samsung, both of which broke down during the warranty period.
Samsung will only repair the set if it is brought to them complete with cables, which is not possible for me because everything is permanently installed.
Conclusion: No more Samsung.
