Question about Bose Companion 50
My Macbook is connected via HDMI to my monitor, which only has an audio in input. Can I connect these speakers directly to the Audio In input of the monitor?
As mentioned above, the speakers belong on the 3.5 mm audio output of the laptop. Does Apple still use these ports in their laptops or do you have to buy adapters for them? Apple - haha!
That's how I would do it. I don't know what I would want to achieve with speakers on an Audio In connection on the monitor.
You can connect the speakers directly to the MacBook using the hdmi cable, and then select the sound output.
