my [DM800 HD se] no longer finds all services when searching for channels (dvb-c/upc) (my BRAVIA TV on the same network does).
in summer 2017, the same box still found everything without any problems!

Changing the E2 image, settings and cabling did nothing.
You cannot specify a threshold value

I suspect
- the tuner, which is known to be weak
- the house wiring
- upc itself

does anyone have experience with this and solutions or tricks against the problem?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide support for non-official images. If you could not find the tuner with the official firmware and the correct settings and various search methods, it could be the tuner. In this case, it would probably be a warranty case.
