I've owned the Alienware Aurora R10 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, 32GB, 1000GB, PCIe SSD) for two days now.

Is it normal that the cpu temperature never drops below 70 C? Even with simple office applications? As a result, the fan runs permanently at at least 50% and is very loud and annoying, especially for office applications.

This PC (and Alienware in general) doesn't really have the best cooling performance, 70°C when not in use/office seems a bit high to me anyway. The best thing to do is contact Alienware support. Good luck!
