It's funny when the product is cheaper after the discount campaign (20%, i.e. down to CHF 40.80) than before, i.e. without the discount (now CHF 39.20)... It's such a small difference and I'm basically quite satisfied with the product, but it's still a strange pricing policy. Is this - an ominous strategy to catch customers (has worked - maybe even by means of targeted advertising/targeted discounting like hotel booking sites?? You better be better than that!!), - trying to get rid of the product via said discount, which fails, whereupon it becomes regularly cheaper, - scanning the market for the highest price that will be paid, - or all of the above... before? I'm not angry because I really like Galaxus and Digitec and I'm mostly satisfied with all the products I've bought so far, but I just hope that the price was really higher before and that it's always the same for all customers! Anything else would be a worrying development...

Our prices are dynamic, as we work with daily prices. These depend on various factors such as the purchasing conditions at our suppliers. Unfortunately, it therefore also happens in rare cases that the prices of products fall or rise sharply after a discount campaign. The three possible reasons you listed would be new to me.
