Question about NortonLifeLock 360 Deluxe

It looks like there are subscription versions and non-subscription versions of Norton. With the latter, you would not have to enter any payment data (credit card) when registering/activating before installing. With the subscription versions, the opposite is true and the subscription is automatically renewed. This is irrelevant for card holders, as the data can apparently be deleted from the account afterwards. Unfortunately, I don't have a credit card and would like to buy Norton 360 or any other antivirus that doesn't require a card. Why is this not stated by the providers? it's impossible ....
