Question about WD My Cloud Home
It has instructions, but I don't quite understand them - it always says APP. What about the access rights? Are they the same as for the My Book? Does this NAS also have a DLNA server?
I can't give you an answer to the first question regarding access rights, but in my opinion every NAS should have your DLNA server. DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) is only a storage medium that can play back the contents in a network. A NAS is therefore responsible for exactly this. Synology, for example, provides exactly these services for video, pictures and music. I would be surprised if WD could not do this.
