[Is this rattling normal at level 1 (maybe listen with headphones, it comes across better)? Or have I got a bad one here? I was also wondering if anyone had received this before me and sent it back.
Levels 2 and 3 are damn loud, but that is clearly due to the physics and not a construction error.

I have had the same experience... rattling on level 1, too loud on levels 2 and 3.

I’m so glad you asked this question because yes, in fact I do think there is a design flaw!  Mine has rattled at level 1 since the day I purchased it 2 years ago. Although it has a sleek design, for the price, it is clearly not a good fan.
