Is there a way to turn off the screen of the monitor, but keep the monitor on? For example, if I want to use the monitor at night but not have the screen lit up? I would have thought this would be an essential feature but I cannot find out how to do it. Thanks.

Yes, simply set to AUDIO. Then the screen is black, but you can hear the screaming

There is an ECO mode: the monitor and audio switch on automatically when the camera makes a sound.
