STTL or subtitles can be called up on almost every station (if subtitled) via Teletex pages 777, 170 or 150. Not quite as convenient as the STTL button but "Bibap" (useful is better than perfect) ;-)

Unfortunately I can't answer that, or rather we have three different Panasonic devices and for each of them we have bought/used this universal remote control. Without any problems.

Hi Michelle, it should actually work with the whole TX family. You just have to test it. However, I had to return the remote control because it has no STTL button, which is needed to switch the subtitle function on and off. Unlike the original, it also lacks the lighting. If you don't need either, it's worth a try.
