Question about Synology DS920+
Is the network cable length from the router to the NAS very important? I realise that this is a specific question, but my NAS is either about 15 metres away from the router or right next to it (+/- 1 metre). I'd rather ask whether the data transmission changes noticeably as a result.
A LAN cable can be max. 100m long. So your 15m is relatively little.
