Is the Horizon HD Box from UPC compatible? And can you also save channels with the Elite and select them directly without entering the channel number? Such a list of favourites.

No, unfortunately not. The UPC remote control only works via radio, while Logitech uses infrared. It works with Swisscom TV, but there you also need the additional infrared receiver.
