Is the device always equally loud in operation or depending on the load?

I'm asking because my office is only 20m2 but I'm hoping that the appliance will be much quieter if it has to cool a smaller room than the 45m2 stated.

Depending on the mode, it gets quieter or louder. But compared to my previous ones, it is louder than stated and cools less well despite the higher m2.

Answer

The noise level varies depending on the fan level. However, when the compressor switches on, the appliance is really loud - I personally wouldn't recommend it for an office of this size.
