Is the appliance suitable for plate heating 40° and low cooking 80/90°?

Appliance for warming plates 40° yes, of course, that also works, I have never tried low cooking but you can set it to 80-90C. There are also various combination programmes with steam + hot air + micro + grill, see the manual.
