Is the Apple Pencil charged when it is in the holder? Or does it have to be placed on top of the tablet for this?

Helpful answer

The manufacturer states the following: "Internal compartment for Apple Pencil and external compartment for charging". The case should therefore also be able to charge the Pencil.
