Question about Synology DS723+
Is it true that the new DS723+ consumes around 4x more power (65W) than the previous DS720+ (16W)? (Since a NAS often runs 7x24 hours in continuous operation, this should make a difference over the years). And the new DS723+ has only one USB port (in the front) and no second one in the back like the DS720+?

Yes, the DS723+ only has one USB at the front. The space at the back was sacrificed in favour of the PCIe slot for the 10GB LAN card, for example.
