Is it possible to use this adapter with wireless (True Wireless in-ear) headphones? For example, on planes where 3.5 jacks are required. Or do I need another device to connect? Merci

This product is a receiver. As far as I know, you would need a transmitter for your Bluetooth headphones.

works fine on my old BMW with iPhone but I haven't tried it with AirPods, sorry

You would require the normal adapter for Aircraft audio, readily available in most electronic stores and inexpensive.
