Is it possible to use the box exclusively for YouTube and Netflix? Can the apps be installed on the box or are they available in the Appstore?

No, not suitable for that. No Netflix or Youtube. The box is mainly for receiving digital terrestrial television (DVB-T & DVB-T2). This is no longer offered in Switzerland. You can only use the box abroad or near the border. We took it with us to the Czech Republic.
