Is it possible to transmit the sound via coaxial cable (S/PDIF) to a Logitec Z906 sound system? And will the sound be recognised as 5.1?

Both units have a coaxial connection for digital audio. If a Dolby Digital signal is present, it should also be detected by the Z906, as it supports Dolby Digital.
