Question about Apple TV
Is it possible to transfer a MacBook via Apple TV to an iMac instead of a normal TV?
The big question is whether the iMac displays anything at all from an external source. As far as I know, it does not. Apple TV is connected to the device to be displayed via HDMI...
No iMac has an HDMI input...!?

there is probably already a possibility to sync 2 Macs. but not via Apple TV... also makes no sense to go via another source...
I think Apple presented this in their last keynote with the new operating system that you can use another Mac (e.g. macbook) as a 2nd screen. I would inform myself on the Apple website.
If the iMac has an HDMI input then yes.
