Question about Argo Ulisse 13 DCI Eco WiFi
Is it possible to simply detach the hose to close the window when it is not in use? Or would I have to take the outer part in every time? (rented flat therefore no drilling possible)
The manufacturer states that the quick connectors are designed for 7x disconnection/connection. I don't remember where it said that.
Each time the quick connectors are disconnected, a little R32 coolant is lost. After 8 or more disconnections, so much is lost that a stable cooling circuit is no longer guaranteed.
If you have the necessary equipment to completely evacuate the cooling circuit before disconnecting, you can do this without limit. Otherwise, cooling is over after 7-8 separations.
No, the hose should not "simply" be removed, as coolant can leak out. This should only be done in an emergency and by qualified personnel. Either take the outdoor unit inside or make a window cover/insulation (this is how I did it, but I am not on the ground floor).
