Is it possible to record with this HD Set Top Box onto an external hard disk with USB 2.0 transmission if the hard disk needs one USB for the signal and 1 USB for further power supply?

As long as the second USB port for the power supply of the hard disk is fed via an external charger, this should not be a problem. Whether the port on the box itself supplies enough juice... may be, but I wouldn't bet on it. And ideally work with an OpenATV image -> http://www.opena.tv/forum232
The original image of the box gave me a rather modest impression at the time.

Yes, I have also connected a USB hard disk. It works perfectly.
However, I have installed a different image, but it should also work with the original image.
