Is it possible to connect this router to a 2nd router on another floor to increase distribution (like some ASUS products)?
yes, I have connected a 2nd router with Ethernet cable
I think so. Via cable certainly given the different network ports. Via wireless I think so too.
But I haven't tried it. In any case it spreads the signal well over the whole floor
